I am a loved guppy indeed...just this week alone, so many friends have fed me lunches, dinners, yes indeedy..let the feeding continue..
Today i had something to look forward to..afterwork, I was meeting Tracie for dinner at an old favourite - Tonkichi restaurant at Suntec City. And the best part about this dinner? Tracie was giving a treat muahhahaha...
But before i headed out there , I caught up with moomoo and Kulcha at the Amara Hotel ,hehe they were on their way to some other spot, but moo thought she would bring some pressies for me and Tracie -- a big ol bunch of pretty orchids! ( light green with purple centres!) before they headed off.
So pretty -- guppies love flowers...ofcourse I had to camwhore with my pretty pressie..
Tracie got her bunch of orchids when i finally caught up with her at the Tonkichi restaurant, ofcourse I made her pose for the guppy cam with her flowers too :Dawwww so pretty...
And then it was on to some serious dining --
Tonkichi is no simple japanese cuisine joint, ...it is THE place to eat japanese deep fried pork cutlet meals!
Pork katsu....
prawn tempura, oysters, croquette, and a pork cutlet for this guppy -- yeah i need variety! A well fed guppy is a happie guppy...
After dinner we went window shopping around suntec city mall...sigh so many pretty shiny things ...i want to buy em all...but ofcourse the greedy guppy mind is willing, but the guppy wallet is weak...sigh sigh sigh..
We then took a quick detour to enjoy some sweets...at this dessert joint ...for the life of me i cant remember the restaurant name... but dont worry, everything looked pretty but alas the desserts...didnt really taste as good as they looked.
This was the mango sorbet and crepe we ordered...because it looked pretty hahha it was crepe with marangues layered one on top of another...the sorbet and mango sauce were so tarty and sour it made tracie's eyelids twitch everytime she took a mouth fool..it was hilarious
This was our dessert "fantasy" i think...an assortment of chocolates and macaroons.. pretty and cute...but only the strawberry macaroon looked and tasted like a proper macaroon...everything else either lacked that omph, or was just funny tasting...
Tracie thought the lavender dessert tasted like soap... hahahah i thought it was ok....erm coz i never ate soap before HAHAHAHHAAHHA
