Kitty Lab Comes to Singapore!

Who doesnt love Hello Kitty?

Went to check out the Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary Project exhibit yesterday with Bijoux.At $38 per entry , this party is strictly for fans , girls, and little kids, I salute the boyfriends and husbands that accompanied their wives and girlfriends to this ultimate girly super gay shindig hahaa..
We got to the expo super duper early! We shall be the first in the hall ! well at least that was Bijoux's plan...but alas! when we got to the registration booth.there was already a queue! sigh there was nothing to do but..camwhore as we wait in line...sigh sigh sigh

Hehehe guppies love Hello Kitty...and Bijoux as well...camera and all recording devices were not allowed so we could only sneak some photo shots as we went along.... too bad.. Posing with KTA (the little cloud thing..thats supposed to be hello kitty's DNA) when we entered the expo hall, we were greeted with this brain numbing tune played in a loop. i swear the whole plaee is like a little brain wash chamber : " u will assimulate ..resistance is futile...Hello Kitty is YOUR MASTER "

Apparently, its like a little "theme park-like" game $38 buys you entry into the KittyLab exhibition, where you will be armed with a map, a little cloud toy called KTA , and you are to visit little booths - called Kitty Cafe, Daniel's travel centre , a hospital, a kitty college, even a F1 car , where you will have to play inane computer animated interactive games to win instructions for the next steps ... errr somewhere along the line, the little KTA cloud will record how you fare in each interactive game, and by the end of your adventures in this exhibition you will have discovered...your ermmm inner kitty!

By the end of the exhibition -- my inner hello kitty was revealed ... I am..

Ofcourse the ultimate highlight of the entire adventure was buying Kittylab 35th anniversary Hello Kitty Merchandise! Stuffed toys, jewelry, grocery bags, usbs stainless steel cutlery..hahah there was quite abit of stuff to buy.. this little guppy blew over $250 bucks just buying all this and more souvenirs for friends as well hahaha

After our adventures at the Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary exhibition , Bijoux and I decided everything was too cutesy...to kiddy...heheh we needed some more intelligent "adult" entertainment., so we caught up with porkchop to catch the movie 2012 at Great World City Mall hahahah.

Finally , in the evening, Porkchop and I had the pleasure of enjoying a sumptuous dinner feast cooked up by Anthon at casa de Kiongs. Moo moo joined us after her evening church service !

It was an excellent spread...i just have to share it with you my happie gupsters...check it out

there was grilled veggies...zuchinni, pumpkin, eggplant...... Succulent porkchops! hahaha ( yeah porkchop loved eating em porkchops!) the juices from this tender offering..gawd..it was YUM!

Oh and mah favourite of the evening...Bacon mushroom carbonara! my goodness. it was really really good!

Tracie made Bruschetta..ok the bread was not toasted...but the chopped tomatoes had pine nuts and parsley in it..tasted damn good!

I had more than 2 helpings, washed down with Pinot Noir, granadine and 7 up mix hahaha
