Hello everyone , I'm back!
For my blog followers who thought i got eaten up by my pet lump ?( see last entry) My sincerest apologies...I didn't keel over and die...I just, well got extremely distracted.
Don't really have a very good excuse for the big break in blogging. There were just too many changes going on (yes I know, all changes should be recorded for posterity, and self reflection) so i can look back and kick myself or laugh at myself, ha ha, dunno , I guess I just needed some time to get used to all the changes in my life, as well as sort out my jumbled-sleepy- thoughts before i put erm thought to...cyberspace !
So whats changed over the past few months?
- I parted ways with the funny farm , I've learnt that I'm too much of a softie to be of any benefit to my megalomaniac empire building ambitions. Swimming with the sharks is a daily health hazard...especially if you are just a pissy little guppy... :P blyeah.
- With the time on my hands, I did make that trip to Cambodia with buddies, but didn't pose as Lara croft at Angkor Wat pffftt
- I thought I'd be scuba diving around the world..instead I ended up pursuing another interests : Baking and Badminton!
- Porkchop has returned from his lengthy hiatus in Melbourne :D hooray! He got chubbier hahah must be the great Australian dairy diet :P
- That lifebuoy that drifted off? well it is has come floating around again. Will it drift off again? yeah, it will.
- I spent a helluva lot more time with friends and family. The more interaction I have with them, the more I got exposed to their insanity, idiosyncrasies and anal retentive-ness, but at the end of the day, I find myself still loving them anyway. Heck, everyone's allowed to have a looney side! I just have to avoid them when i sense the madness unfurling....as a wise ( equally looney) cow once said - "This is TRUE LOVE! " indeed cow. indeed.
- I also spent alot of my waking moments on Facebook! eeks! first Fishville, and then Farmville, and now Cityville..surely this is bad for my soul. I gotta cut down.
- And yes everybody -- I DID IT!!! I got my Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License - Woohoo! finally! after 3 failed attempts! muahahahhaah!
Its Januray 2011. Yet another new year. I find myself "over-rested" I'm restless. I'm bored. I want to get out and do stuff. ( at this point if you are reading this and thinking u want to call me to suggest things to do -- DON'T -- I don't like people planning stuff for me, or telling / suggesting stuff for me to do :P I'd rather rot at home in my happy little vegetative state) Whats not changed is I still like to do things on the spur of the moment, I hate pre-planning, I hate scheduling -- Oh the irony!
So yes love me, love the fact that im gonna call u and say - i wanna do this xxxxxx NOW...and u will say OWKAYS! hahahahha! Let's live n bask in the MOMENT!
2011 New Year Resolutions
It's tradition. I started blogging 3 years ago with a list of new years resolutions, I guess I will start again this year with a new list of "MUST DOs" only this time, I will make this list a little saner , and easier to accomplish .
Here goes :
- Badminton at least twice a week - and play better badminton duh!
- Make at least 4 scuba trips out with at least one trip that is not Malaysia/ Indonesia waters
- Use Sunblock and moisturiser everyday
- Save 20% of my take home pay
- Hangout with family at least once every 2 weeks
- Take the Master Scuba Diver course
- Visit Vietnam :D
- Visit Egypt
- No more buffet lunches and dinners at Hotels! No more!
- Swear ...erm Less :P
Hahahaha see? perfectly acheivable ! Stay tuned true believers , I think this is gonna be a grand exciting fun filled year for all of us!
