Batam Bummin Bliss!

Yep if you havent noticed by now, im backlogged . and bad.
HAHAHA this entry is actually on a holiday i took with moo , kulcha on my actual birthday itself 14th August...

Yep we went on a trip to Batam :D , took the friday off coz its mah birthday , and headed out to the indonesian island of Batam for some massage, avocado juice and nice R & R . I tell you my happie gupsters, it was a trip filled with **Kwaa Kwaa** sound efx moments...but i think with moo and kulcha by my side. it was a really fun one :)

neeways :
The morning started with mince pork noodles at redhill with kulcha , mmm he wasnt feeling in tip top condition , had a slight cold. but was still game enough to carry on with our horliday plans! we then headed off to Harbourfront Centre to meet up with Moo! where we collected our ferry tickets and headed out to macdonalds for some quick snacks while we waited for boarding time :P
Moo mom made Ang Ku Kueh!!! super shiok! wore this pink erm badge on the way into Batam :P on the ferry... **kwa kwa**at macdonalds , yes moo's wonderful idea.... Here we go here we go here we go! Alan took this ncie photo of me and moo! ..as we snacked on macdonalds while waiting for the time to board our ferry
Are we there yet ? :S ...dying of boredom on the supposedly short ferry ride to batam.. it definitely was more than 35 mins! **kwa kwa**Finally we arrived at the waterfront city Jetty ...yeah guppies look cool in aviator shades muahahaha too bad it started to rain ,,,,and the sun went to hide..grrrr
moo - relieved to be on the minibus that would bring us to our home - Holiday Inn :DAlan - "where is the beach ah? "
We arrived at our spanking cool suite at the Holiday Inn, it comes with living room, two bathrooms, one shared kitchen area .We took the suite with adjoining rooms - one room had a double bedthe other room had 2 single beds . SWEEEEET!!!
Then we wasted no time, booked ourselves a nice cab and made our way into town...moomoo says : "I wanna see the bridge! i wanna buy tissue paper! i wanna buy toilet paper! i want!!!!! "Kulcha : " I see golf courses!!"im so cuuutee lor" cries staffy! " i love guppy guppy is my goddess!"A & W was our first meal when we reached batam -- **kwa kwa**A&W Waffles were highly anticipated but somehow lacked that oomph..it was too crispy :(chippies, chickpeas, water, toilet paper, tissues... we shopped for groceries in matahari , at nagoya hill mall
After shopping, we stopped by Salon Eska, and got ourselves some el cheapo massage -- Moo and Kulcha got themselves a SGD 9 bucks for foot reflexology ( 60 mins) , while i bot myself some full body massage SGD 19 bucks for (60 mins) it was the ultimate highlight of our kwaa kwaa day.
Then it was on to dinner at 933 Golden Prawn restaurant... which to our dismay despite the hype served up teeny tiny prawns!?!!!!!
soooooo small and tiny these prawns :P ..at least they were fresh and sweet!
tiny sweet prawns...tiny tiny hae bees
check this out.,..the tiniest craw claws id eaten in my entire life! it was the size of a spooon!!!!!!!
Lotus prawns ....and veggies stirfried in garlic
Then i wanted a nice group shot of our awesome threesome. alas Kulcha sez cannot take pics in groups of 3 , so staffy joined us for this photoshoot muahahaha! thank goodness we brought staffy out with us!
one more time! say " these prawns are too tineeeyyyyyy!"
We also managed to catch up with my Indonesian cousin, Amir...its been too long ! Cousin Amir brought us to Vista Hotel ,where he bought us all drinks at a cool lounge/pub perched on top of a hill , overlooking batam citycheck out the views~! Moo and Kulcha...chilling outa live band called Cosmo was playing at this lounge not too shabby at all ...i love the toilet signage at Vistaanother classic **kwa kwa** moment. we ended up vegetating with cable tv waiting for the right time to board the ferry home...

Before we knew it, we spent 2 days and 1 night at Batam,.. it was time to go home ! moo took one last shot...too bad we could not do a group shot as we were rushing to board the ferry home :P ...all in all it was an interesting adventure out at batam...very **kwa kwa** but still. FUN!
