Dammit why are u so dumb?
I used to think that cats were definitely cuter and smarter than dogs. that is ...until i came home 2 nights ago to find kitty vomiting out a short length of twine (string)!
his usual demanding meows became soft pathetic moans and whimpers.
dammit! kitty had chewed off the entire 1 m length of twine on his stick and string dangle toy and now that he had vomited out a short piece there was still alot of it left in his tummy!
just to be safe, porkchop and I brought him to see the vet at Mount Pleasant Vetrinary Surgery..and thank goodness we did.
The vet explained that in the best case scenario, kitty would shit out the entire length of twine he swallowed. but in the worst case scenario, should the twine be rolled up in his tummy and cause an obstruction, it could cause a bunching up of his intestines...and eventually risk a painful slow death.

Its a waiting game now... the vet prescribed alot of laxatives to help encourage him to poo out the stringy mess... in the next 2 days if still no string/ twine ..We would have to surgically remove the twine :( ..too risky!
