After my last meeting this guppy made a mad dash to the Sukhumvit airport to catch a flight into Kuala Lumpur.. As Singapore Airlines ( guppy's prefered airline) does not fly from Bangkok to KL , i had to board a Malaysian Airlines flight :P
Just before i boarded the flight, i got an sms from moomoo! Moo was gonna be in KL for a couple of meetings too, and we made plans to rendezvous at the Hilton ! heeee how exciting!
I arrived at KL very very late in the evening and checked into the Mandarin Oriental Hotel immediately
Heheh i took this shot while lying on my bed , Ive got a view of the petronas towers from my bedroom window :D not bad huhOther than the view, Mandarin Oriental was pretty much what you'd expect..
nice furnishing, fluffy beds...i got a twin room this time...as the kingsized bed rooms were fully booked...see here happie gupsters.. nice fluffy beds and all for just ONE little guppy..what a waste!
By the time i finished sorting out what i needed for the next day's meetings, and finished unpacking it was already past 11pm.... , I hopped into a cab and zipped off to the Hilton hotel where moomoo was shacked up in.
I was expecting a short cab ride but man, would you believe i ran into a traffic jam in the middle of KL city at 1130ish pm? how annoying!
It was almost midnight and we were both HUNGRY when i finally arrived at the Hilton.We wanted to grab something warm and soupy at the "Noodle Room" but it was already closing by the time i got in, so we ended up ordering food from the Hilton's 24 hour "Cafe Cino" while seated at their lounge bar...
One happy mad mooo and crazy greedy guppy Camwhoring in the middle of a dimly lit lounge bar ...with our flashlights poppin away hee hee
Is one smoked salmon sandwich enough for one hungry mooomoo and one greedy little guppy? OFCOURSE NOT!
in addition to the sandwich we also ordered sinfully delicious Char kway teow
one gargantuous BEEF BURGER and fries ..
Plus the crowning deliciousness of the evening...fried chicken wings!!!!
Yup, after almost a full week of lux wining dining, and entertaining at poshy places all week, at the end of the day, I must say this was the best meal I had all week. a nice meal with a good friend makes a meal complete...everytime. :)
Fastforward to this morning --
Finished off my business in KL and caught the 5pm SQ flight back to Singapore ... ah false joys...the traveling aint complete yet, Im just into the Singapore leg of my tour...one day in Singapore then its off to Jakarta Indonesia in the evening...will i survive? stay tuned true believers! ha ha ha
got an sms from moomoo that she suffered from indigestion and had a mild puke and poo fest...hmmm mabbe we really did over eat :P ooops!
An interesting sidetrack -- heheheheh i got distracted duty free shopping at the Changi International Airport when i got in to Singapore this evening. spent too much time at the duty free mall and got out of immigration too late... my baggage became the infamous - LAST BAG ON BELT --and airport security had to haul it off to a corner..under secure observation..oops...
even my push cart trolley had the note - "last bag SQxxx "stuck on it :P hahahahaha
